Lagos will not be complete [I mean “Old Yaba”] without mentioning the beaut that is the Lisa Lodge which sits on a corner of the Old Yaba Road. Its a street that reek said of Vitorian Lagos and what the British and Afro-Brazilians had made it look like to their taste.
Otherwise the Lisa Lodge. Basking in the legacy of this building which was owned by the Akitoye Tejuoso family which used to stand graciously in the heart of Old Yaba Road and has gracefully fallen. It’s is a one storey dormer windowed structure with a distinctively plastered Lisa Lodge sign.
